Back on Xanga

This happens every time! I can't get on xanga at school so during breaks I can update it. Then I see how old it is and I'm like good grief this happened forever ago. LOL

Anyway, so here we are at the beginning of summer. Barbeque, vacations, full-time summer jobs! Heee It's all good stuff. I definatley want to go to some concerts during this summer. I'm suprised of all who comes out here. Third Day will be out here in June which i'm very excited about and Casting Crowns will be singing at the Iowa State Fair. I won't be able to see them because I'll already be back in North Carolina.

Hopefully my oldest sister wil be able to come up here for a few days. Her husband will going on a missions trip. With here being "great with child" she cannot go along with him. So, Lord willing she and the babies can come up here for a while.

I hope everybody has an awesome summer and are able to do amazing things.

Back on Xanga

Hey everyone!

Wow, it has been a long time since I've been on my xanga. I can't get it school so I had to wait till I got it here in the office and I just did yesterday. Things are going really well at work and school. I love working here at my church. Officially called the "music secretary". I love it too! It is really training me for ministry in more ways than one. School is always with classes that you love and classes that well....you would perfer not to have at all! Heeeee but they are all good in developing a good education to do what you need to do and I thank God for it all.

I have realized that a little toughness is good for you. It helps you appreciate what you have earned. Even though work classes and just thr strain of life and be hard it helps us appreciate the reward that we get out of it. So, just for a little bit of encouragement don't grwo weiry in well doing! It will pay off. Leave me your thoughts.

               Have a wonderful day,

The way God works

Wow, it's been a while since I've written here and have told everybody what I'm up to. My sister, her husband and my precious baby have come to be with us for the week. I have really enjoyed them. I have been able to play and take care for my nefew as well. He is so much fun. He's a squirt but he is precious. It really makes me excited to have one of my own....some day. Hahaha anyway.

I would like to just share also what God has been doing. I was working at a daycare and a bakery and that was just killing me and I was making more hours at the bakery then the day care so logically I quit the day care and stayed at the bakery. Weeeeeeeeeellllllllll, the bakery cut my hours trumendously and right when that happened I got a call from the administrator of the daycare saying that there is a full time position at the day care if I wanted it till I had to go back to school.  well, yeah! Haaaaaaaa so I'm working full time till I go back to school! Praise God! He works out every detail. Write me back at tell me how God has provided for you or how you need God to provide for you. I want to pray with you about it. Remember, " My God shall supply all your needs according to His Riches in Christ Jesus. Can I get a wittness up in here?!?! LOL

Summer Work

So, being home for the summer doesn't mean that I can just sit on my tail the whole time, eat bon bons and get aquainted with the new games that are going on with the Price is Right(I've always wanted to go on that show). Work is very crucial at this time for me to return to the rigorous at Piedmont Baptist College. At the monent I am working at a day care called Little Endevors. For the last couple of weeks I have been taking care of the Two year olds. Today all the rooms were changed. Happens every year. Now, I get to take care of babies. They are a hand full. I had a lot of fun today. But Little Endevors isn't quite giving me the hours that I need. So, I was on the search for another job for the summer. Well, I have one. I will be working at a Bakery from 4 AM to 12 PM. Early granted. But if it gets the school bill payed it will be worth it. I talk to the manajor tomorrow to finalize my working there so pray that all goes well. I will actually be glad to have a busy summer so I'll be able to get out of the house and get some money. I get extremely borred whenI go home, and when I get borred bad things happen. So, God has really opened this up for me. I'm not all that thrilled with going in a 4 in the morning but I'm a morning person enough that I can handle it. Plus it's just for the Summer. Well, I hope all is well with every one.

                                                          It's Up To Me

Something that God has been working in my heart with is Pride. Most of us have in one form or another struggle with it. Whether it is how we look, what we do or even who we are with. The one thing that can be learned is that as soon as God has you where he wants you, He can use you. God will in the end get the glory. The one thing that is up to me is how I will respond. Am I going to be kicking and sreamimg the whole time? Or will I let Him do what he needs to do in me with a completely submissive spirit?  God did not make us machines. He gave us a mind to decide for ourselves to follow him or not. Why would God do that? God could have made a being that could do exactlly what he wanted. Well, it's simple. With God giving us our own mind and we are submissive to him, it is sincerely genuine. So, I leave this thought with you. Are you letting God do what he wants to do willingly, or are you fighting him every step of the way? It's up to you!
